Quick Response to COVID-19

In response to the pandemic, Squirrel Ai immediately closed more than 2,000 offline learning centers, which transferred 270,000 students from offline to online learning. We fully applied the OMO (online-merge-offline) classroom mode, while at the same time giving accounts for free to students in most severely influenced areas. In February this year, Squirrel Ai’s study hours in China totaled 4.6 million class hours, achieving a year-on-year increase of 8 times. The number of summer students increased by 50% year-on-year compared with the second quarter, and August revenue increased 10 times from the lowest peak of the pandemic. In addition, the jobs of more than 20,000 teachers across the country have been secured.

Our Donations to Wuhan City

During the peak of the COVID-19, we donated ventilators and PPEs including face masks, protective clothes and protective glasses to the center of the pandemic——Wuhan City in China’s Hubei Province. With limited resources at that time, the successful donation cannot be separated from the 2,000 offline Squirrel Ai learning centers across the country. We also donated PPEs to our partners, scientists and organizations across the world.

Active Cooperation with DingTalk

DingTalk is a smart mobile collaborative office platform developed by Alibaba Group, covering 130 million users in education. It has been widely used by public school teachers and students across the country when studying from home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Squirrel Ai cooperated with DingTalk actively to apply Squirrel AI’s intelligent adaptive learning products in it. This integration provides users in education with personalized learning and smart exercise services (after-school smart homework system) which covers all elementary and junior high schools subjects.
